There are two ways to join the Conservatives: as a Member or as a Friend. Both are great ways to show your support, so choose the one that is right for you.
Join as a Member
Members play an active role in the Party, and receive important voting rights in Party elections. As a Member, you will be able to:
- Decide who represents the Party in local, general and European elections
- Vote in elections for the Party Leader and in your local Association AGM
- Attend Party Conferences
In addition, you will receive:
- Access to our Affinity Programme which provides great discounts on a wide range of products
- A membership card and welcome booklet
- Regular email updates
Becoming a Member costs £25 a year - or £5 a year if you are under 23 years old.
Join as a friend
If you are keen to show your support but do not want to be a full Member, becoming a Friend is the perfect way to join. As a Friend, you will be able to attend Party Conferences, and will receive:
- Access to our Affinity Programme which provides great discounts on a wide range of products
- A membership card and welcome booklet
- Regular email updates
To become a Friend, all you need to do is make a donation of any amount (from a minimum of £1).
